	The XXI Festival de Teatre al Carrer de Vila-real Street Theatre and Circus in Vila-Real 2-3-4 May 2008 The local football team are heading for the Champions League and 2nd to Real Madrid so cause for celebration in Vila-real and celebrate they do for the next three days with actors, clowns, circus acts all over town. The XXI Festival de Teatre al Carrer de Vila-real has been providing exciting entertainment for two decades. There are new challenges on the horizon, but the goal remains the same - to make sure the event continues to be one of Spain's highest quality street festivals. Year after year, the event fills every corner of Vila- real with light and colour through a series of shows for all age groups. The square, Plaça del Llaurador, will be the stage for the Teatre de la Saca theatre company from Castile - León with its new work Gaitana. On Friday May 2nd, there will be a whole range of performances. Malas Pulgas starts the proceedings with its own special take on the Lazarillo de Tormes. Then Les Enjoliveurs will present Ole Maestro and Sweden and France will be represented by Meganimals from Maduixa Teatre and La Cabaña de Pepe by Daniel Rafel, showing their skills on the Calle Cedre and the Calle Vianants. From 6p.m. to midnight, there will be another eight shows to delight all those present. There is no respite in Vila-real after all the activity of the first few days and the attractions keep coming. Circonirico, King Kong, Oh Suivant and As pequenas ceremonias, together with Einstein y el relativo, Que pasa con tu grasa, Arte aéreo and Funk-A-Loo round off the XXI Festival de Teatre al Carrer de Vila-real on Saturday May 3rd. Even then the event won't be over, as there will still be several performances to go. The Circus Klezmer will provide the perfect finish at 11.30p.m. on Sunday. Come to Vila-real and experience street life with the locals!
