	Carnival at Vilanova i La Geltrú 14 February - 22nd February 2009 Vilanova i La Geltrú, Barcelona, Spain Carnival time in Spain and every community is vying with each other to come up with something different to get the crowds in. Well this lot have come up with a yet another variation on a theme, another food  fight in Spain. This one involves meringue, sweets and cereal all mixed up in a sticky gooey mess. Once everyone is washed down after the sweet fight there will be the rest of the carnival events, parades, church services, eating and drinking.
