Near to Jalon Valley, Calpe and Benissa.This restaurant is a lovely mountain drive, with good photographic opportunities, from the village of Jalon travel up the mountain roads (passing The Donkey Sanctuary) until you see a large, old property on your left, literally an old farmhouse and barn. You have reached the Verdi Vent restaurant andbe hungry because there is a lot to eat; perhaps advocates of nuvo cuisine may find fault with it but if you like good well cooked farmhouse food this is the place for you. A must visit and more than worth the trip. An excellent drive through beautiful scenery, before or after the meal drive to the top of the mountain to the viewing area. It can be a round trip around the mountain back to Benissa.
