Valencia Region Beaches
Beaches and Coves
Hidden and sometimes hard to find, large and majestic, the beaches of the Valencian community are without doubt among the best beaches in Spain. Hundreds of kilometres of mediterranean coastline to enjoy unforgettable holidays on the beaches of Alicante on the Costa Blanca; on the beaches of Benidorm, the beaches of Valencia or the beaches of Castellon, on the Costa Azahar.

Beaches in Spain

Valencia

Playa de Venecia, Gandia-Playa
Submit This immaculate golden beach is famously “combed” by tractors in summer to maintain its pristine appearance. Lined with smart rows of coconut-matting sunshades and blue-and-white-striped sun loungers, it has all the amenities: play areas for children, showers, lifeguard posts, and a line of restaurants and cafés along the seafront.

Nord Beach
Its width, of almost one kilometre and a half, is the main characteristic of this crowded and well cared beach with cosmopolitan aspect. It is delimited by a bustling waterfront, behind which catering and leisure services to all likings follow one another. With clear waters, its sand is fine and golden, and seasonal facilities where hiring windsurfing boards or registering in light sail courses follow one another. Accessible beach for people with reduced mobility.

Other beaches Valencia

La Granadella - Javea
Beautiful creek with sand, boulders and rocks and of an almost wild exuberance only accessible along a road roaming by a deep Mediterranean pinewood. Its clean turquoise green waters make it one of the most attractive creeks in the area.

Length: 220
Average width: 24
Ocupation rate: High

El Saler Beach - Valencia
Almost five kilometres of open beach of fine golden sand are a real luxury making it one of the most crowded beaches in the area. Sheltered from western winds by a dune chain of high ecological value and a wide extension of pinewoods giving its environment a wild and natural aspect. In summer, Garbí wind blowing in the evening makes this beach one of the favourite ones for windsurfing keens.

Platgetes Beach-Teulada-Moraira
Semi-urban beach with fine sand, boulders and clean waters very suitable for bathing and diving. It is delimited by a well cared waterfront and has all kind of services.

El Arenal Beach- Javea
It is a wide and sheltered inlet with fine sand and not very deep waters, very suitable for children. Its waters are very clean. Beach adapted to people with reduced mobility.
