Since its inception the two day festival became Spain´s most important hip hop and urban event, with more than 50 bands, djs and artists playing in several stages (music, urban art & graffiti, breakdance, bmx and documentary cinema) and drew a crowd of 20.000 to el Matadero Madrid (Madrids disused old slaughterhouse, now a venue for cultural events) and 1000 people more to the 1ST Cultura Urbana Documentary Film Festival, which took place at the Bellas Artes Cinema An annual multidisciplinary event that gathers the most notable local and international proposals as regards hip hop and the most contemporary urban culture.
