Pata Negra
Raimundo Amador Fernández. 1959. Seville. Famous Guitarist and singer from Spain
Rafael Amador Fernández. 1960. Seville. Guitarist and cantaor
Pata Negra is a legendary band in the history of Spanish music. Established by the Amador brothers after Veneno split up, it has possibly been the band that did the most for cross-breed flamenco, not because they were the first to do it, but rather because of the quality they achieved and for the great impact that they had on the musical scene and among the public. In truth, rather than a fusion of flamenco with blues, it could be argued that their music was the expression of a new style.
