Golf Mallorca Classic25th to 28th October Spain
Mallorca Classic will be held at its usual scenario of Pula Golf, located in Son Servera, Mallorca Island, from 25th to 28th October, The tournament forms part of the PGA European Tour and scores towards the Volvo Order of Merit.
The dates of the tournament, the week before the Volvo Masters, make it a must for all players. The tournament will be played over 72 holes on a Stroke Play basis, with a cut-off after the first 36 holes of 65 players and those tying with them.
Pro–Am: this will be played on 19th of October. There will be 40 teams made up of a professional and three amateurs. Prizes will be awarded to the three teams with the best scores. Pula's course will be first presented at this edition, totally renovated, under the direction of José María Olazábal. These works, which correspond to holes 4 to 9, will give a complete transformation to the course.
There will be a Hospitality Tent at the tournament for the exclusive use of VIPs and sponsors, with catering and other services available, situated on the green of the 18th, and a buffet will be served there on each day of the competition. The Inaugural Dinner will also take place in the Hospitality Tent on the day of the Pro-Am. The gala dinner of the tournament will also take place in the Hospitality Tent.
In addition, there will be a Commercial Area at the tournament with promotional stands where sponsors and official suppliers will be offering their products to the general public.
