We have also organized international folk festivals in our own country. We arrange INT. FOLKLORE FESTIVAL 6 different Time every year in TURKEY. If you want to join int. GOTIPUA DANCE The Gotipua dance is an oldest traditional dance of Orissa.The dancers are young boys who dress as girl. The boys live in the premises of a goddess temple to serve to the said Goddess with dance. Their parents gave them in their age of 6 years old with many ritual functions. Day after day, year after year and until their age of 16 years their main thanking is only dance and dance. They learn dance and songs from their Guru’s(teacher). Most of the guru was Gotipua in their childhood. When they reach at 16 years they come out from temple to offer their long hairs to the temple Goddess with ritual function. The most interesting item in Gotipua dance is BandhaNritya(acrobatic posses). It is a dance with acrobatic poses and movement. Thedifficult and intricate poses of the body with suppling of various limbs are known as Bandha Nritya (acrobatic). At present this dance is gain popularity all over the India.But this traditional dance troop in the Orissa state is only 4/5 groups because many teams have been abolished year after year. It is an important dance because the world famous Odissi dance has developed from this dance. The most of songs based on love story of Lord Krishna, The Mahabharata and The Ramayana. **** A short writing about Folk Songs of Bengal (Baul of Bengal) **Mystic singers, wandering minstrels, the Bauls of Bengal preserve one of the oldest and fascinating Indian tradition. Born from the meeting of different religious ex-precisions, such as Tantrism, Buddhism,Sufism, Vaishnavism, they consecrate their existence to dance, music and singing conveying intimate joy, universal brotherhood, discovering of divine inside man’s heart. Baul live a free existence without discriminations and rules, wander from village to village, dance on ecstasies and sing joy and love coming from the mystic union with divine.
