Festival: “Noches de Embrujo” (Enchanting Nights)
 July 1, 2011 to August 31, 2011

From the 1st July to the 31st August, Cordoba, Andalusia fills its most famous locations with cultural events the 'Noches de Embrujo' (enchanted nights) festival, featuring numerous artistic activities aimed at audiences of all ages.

The list of events is endless: theatre performances, classical music concerts, poetry recitals, films, equestrian displays, flamenco shows, dance, guided walks, conferences… all part of a major cultural festival that also extends to other towns and villages throughout the province. Younger visitors can also enjoy storytelling in the Botanical Gardens. Meanwhile, horse lovers can thrill to the show 'Passion and duende of the Andalusian horse'. The Presjovem Lucena International Music Festival, the 'Moonlight Cinema' programme, the Palma del Río Theatre Festival, the 'Strolls around Cordoba' programme and the Guitar in Cordoba festival are among some of the other events on offer.

So much to see and do, spend the whole summer watching great events in Cordoba. Great shows in fabulous settings.  This festival comprises numerous artistic activities aimed at audiences of all ages.

The list of events in the 
“Noches de Embrujo” is immense: theatre performances, classical music concerts, poetry recitals, film, equestrian shows, flamenco shows, dance, guided walks, conferences… In total, more than 200 events that comprise a major cultural fiesta that also extends to other towns and villages in the province. Hence, the little ones can enjoy storytellers and magic in the old Jewish quarter and the Botanical gardens. Meanwhile, in the “Los Patios Theatre” there are various comic and traditional performances. There is also a week of “Religious performances” held. Furthermore, flamenco fans can enjoy “Flamenco nights” in emblematic locations around the historic centre, such as the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos. The International Sephardic Music Festival, the Lucena Piano Festival, the Cinema in the Moonlight programme, the Palma del Río Theatre Festival and the Cordoba Guitar Festival are some of the other events that complete the programme
