The Altea Yachting Club organizes the
22nd Edition of the 200 Mile Yacht RACE, starting February 22nd until
the 24th. The race takes place in the waters of Altea, Eiviessa and
Formentera. Winners will receive a prize in silver bars.

silver The Altea Yachting Club organizes the 22nd Edition of the 200 Mile Yacht RACE, starting February 22nd until the 24th. The race takes place in the waters of Altea, Eiviessa and Formentera. Winners will receive a prize in silver bars. The 22nd edition of the 200 Miles Yachting Race starts february 21st with the participants' registration and the handing out of the instructions at the Altea Yacthing Club. The Spanish Royal Yachting Federation, the Region of Valencia Yachting Federation and the Altea city council, together with the National Cruise Association and the Single Navigators Association, have organized this incredible winter competition. Participating ships are equipped with the RN Measurement certificate for the year 2008 and are more than 9 meters long. Crews of two participants each will navigate the waters from Altea to Eivissa across the Freus Pass and the Formentera buoy, and back to Altea. The race starts on February 22nd. Arrivals depend on sea conditions. In normal conditions, the race lasts between 2 and 3 days. The awards will be handed out on March 1st. Both winners and participants who come in second and third will receive silver bars of different weights for each of the categories. The 200 Mile Yacht Race is an exciting event for all, whether you decide to take part or stand on shore! XXII RACE TO TWO MILES'200 ' The XXII edition of the Race "200 Miles to DOS" is organized by the CLUB OF NAUTICAL ALTEA, with the collaboration of the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation, the Sailing Federation Valencia, the Royal National Association of Cruise, the Association Navegantes in Lonesome and HE. Municipality of Altea. It will be held in the waters of Altea, Ibiza and Formentera. This is an event level 0 Cruise in the calendar of the Sailing Federation Valencia and is a race for the championship puntuable Spain to DOS. They may participate in this regatta boats Measurement RN certificate for the year 2008, in length (LOA) of more than 9 meters and ships of the class X-35.
