	Almeria Fair 15th to 28th August 2008  Almeria Fair and Fiestas, in honour of the city's patron, the Virgin of the Sea. A range of different events catering to all tastes are held within the programme of the events, the concerts and shows, the popular Pottery Fair and the Horse Fair, with classical and "vaquero" (cowboy) dressage competitions, along with the Flamenco Festival.
