The Alcázar de San Juan International Puppet Theatre has been held since 2004.

An event not to be missed by puppet fans, it attracts companies from all over the world. Performances are held at various venues around the town, including the Municipal Auditorium, the Santa Clara Convent and the Municipal Museum. A series of parallel activities completes the festival programme.
