Description Candlemas Festival. On the eve of the feast in honour of the Immaculate Conception, which is on the 8th, the local people light bonfires of rosemary in the streets at different places in the village and later they make toast which they eat with dripping. The last few years, Zufre Town Council lights a bonfires at the church door and invites everyone to enjoy the evening with chorizo sausage, sardines and pork chops.
