Description Candlemas Festival. On the eve of the feast in honour of the Immaculate Conception, the local people light bonfires in the streets and squares and spend the night there with friends, they cook pork products over the fire in the traditional way, they also drink the famous local anisette from Zalamea, which is popular all over the province of Huelva.
