Vilafranca del Penedès is famous for the 'Plaza Castellera' which is performed in the town square where the amazing and spectacular people towers are created. The highlight of the calendar casteller Vilafranca is in the day of San Felix, on August 30, but other times, during the celebration of fairs and festivals where shows and towers are the stars. Two groups always vie with each other to be the most spectacular.
