	Descenso a nado de la ría de Navia - Navia Estuary Swim 12th August 2008 On the 4th we had the canoe event now we've got the swimming event. Serious swimmers from all over Europe attend on this celebration of the local patron saints Nuestra Señora de la Barca and San Roque.   Events include  “Criterium de los Ases”, the “MiniDescenso” (a shorter version) and the Asturias Cup for Long-distance Swimming, So another excuse for a fiesta and they'll be partying into the night with traditional songs and dances; as well as cider tasting ( well, why not?) Parades, mass cook outs, bands playing and concerts.   August
