Maria Dolores Campos
Born in Spain, María Dolores Campos, soprano, studied music, violin and singing, at the Professional Conservatory of Music in Valladolid and the Upper Conservatory in San Sebastián, obtaining first-rate diplomas. To complete her musical education she attended advanced courses and master classes in Spain and abroad.

To complete her musical education she attended advanced courses and master classes in Spain and abroad.María Dolores Campos has specialised in classical spanish songs and is well known for her recitals (togheter with her British pianist Katharine Durran she has released a CD) in Spain and in the UK.
Her other main interest is in ópera. She first sang in the UK as Pamina in The Magic Flute in 1991. Since then she has sung solo parts in The Magic Flute, Le Nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni, La Traviata, L’Elisir d’Amore, Idomeneo, Un Ballo in Maschera, Carmen and the soprano solo in Faure’s Requiem.
She speaks Spanish, her native language, English, French and Italian. She lived and performed in England from 1992 to 1999 when she returned to Spain.
Her repertoire includes: Gilda (Rigoletto), Violetta (La Traviata), Nannetta (Falstaff), Mimi (La Bohème), Musetta (La Bohème), Giorgietta (Il Tavarro), Marzelline (Fidelio), Norina (Il Barbiere di Siviglia), Juliette (Romèo et Juliette) and other arias and parts such as Blanche (Dialogue des Carmelites), Adèle (Die Fledermaus) , Manon (Manon), Suor Genovieffa (Suor Angelica), Olimpia (Contes d’Hoffman), La Contesse Adèle (Le Comte Ory).
