2007 event

Terral 2007 moves to Peñón del Cuervo
This year, the festival will feature big music stars like Joe Cocker, Elvis Costello, or Bryan Ferry.
Terral, Málaga's famous summer music festival is having a new seat this year, as it has moved from the Cervantes Theatre to Peñón del Cuervo beach. The programme includes shows and concerts from 13 to 28 July.
The festival will kick off with independent electronic music on Friday 13 July, with American artists Fischerspooner and Andrew Bird, and Tiga DJ, from Canada, whose remixes are famous all around the world. Saturday 14 will be an evening for quality adult rock: Mink DeVille and Elvis Costello, accompanied by Allen Toussaint and other talented musicians. Not to be missed.
Carlinhos Brown and Adriana Calcanhotto will bring the sounds of Brazil on Thursday 19: furiously-paced pop rhythms for the former and a selection of the latter's most poetic songs. On Friday 20, it'll be Africa's turn: Youssou N'Dour and the Super Étoile of Dakar, followed by Michael Nyman and the Cheqara Orchestra of Tétouan.
Two highlights for the last weekend: Brian Ferry on Thursday 26 and Joe Cocker on Friday 27, with backing band The Funk On Me. Thus, Málaga will have the chance to listen to one of the most creative and intelligent musicians in the past fifty years and one of the most charismatic music legends, with his unmistakable rough voice.
The closing evening will be dedicated to chill-out music, with Kruder and Dorfmeister, DJ Earl Zinger, and Hey Willpower. After their concerts, everybody will surely say 'See you next year.'
