Festival in honour of Saint John The Baptist. The main Day of The Festival is on The 24th The feast of Saint John. The bell ringers practise at The doors of The Religious Guild headquarters. On The 23rd of June The eve of The Festival is announced at The Religious Guild headquarters. At 5 a.m. The drummer goes through The streets announcing The Alborá at The houses of The main guild members. On The 24th at 10 a.m. There is a solemn procession of The image of The Saint through The streets of The village following The singular Dance of The "Cascabeleros". After The procession There is a mass, Then The Dancers Dance for The Saint facing him all The time.

Nights of Saint John and Saint Peter "Pirulitos". The local people decorate poles with ribbons, paper chains and flowers and place Them in some of The streets of The village, The local people sing typical songs of Saint John and local fandangos and Dance round The poles. These poles are called "pirulitos" and The Festival is also celebrated in oTher places in The province. A Festival with pagan roots related to paying homage to natural forces and The fertility of The land, The sun and moon. The Festival coincides with midsummer's night.

Fiesta all day and party all night for the longest day of the year in Barcelona.
Bonfires on the beaches, fireworks throughout the city and generally one big party. The custom is to drink lots of Cava and eat a traditional cake like  'coca de St Joan'  a dry cake with candied fruit of various kinds on top.
Fireworks parades, concerts all the fun of the fair.

On The feast of The Saint, a local holiday, There is a solemn procession which takes about an hour starting at 10 a.m. which attracts local people and visitors alike, an unusual feature is a non stop peel of bells, all The local people who want can carry The image of The saint on Their shoulders. The procession ends in The village square at The church doors, The fountain is blessed and so is all The Linares district. During The Festival The streets of The village are decorated with embroidered bedspreads that The local people hang over Their balconies.
