This romeria type pilgrimage festival takes place in the Hermitage of Tower Garci'a.
The pilgrimage commemorates the appearance of the Virgin of the Sea, Patron of the City, in 1502. The image is transported from the Church of Santo Domingo to the Hermitage of Tower Garci'a, where it appeared all those years ago. In the evening they return it to its original location
