The Francisco Tárrega Guitar Contest
25 August to 2 September
guitar classic in Benicàssim
The activities programmed for the contest include concerts by the Duo Rodes-Trepat on 31st August, Álvaro Pierre on 1st September and on the following day the Gerardo Núñez Quinteto with Carmen Cortés.
As parallel activities there are the Exhibitions of Amalio Burguet (Luthier), which can be seen on 1st, 2nd and 3rd September from 6 to 9pm, under the title: How is a guitar made?, and one can also admire a philatelic exhibition on the subject of music, organised by the Santa Águeda Philatelic Association and which is open to the public from the 3rd to 7th September from 6 to 9pm in the Exhibition Hall of the Municipal Theatre.
