for the International Competition.
This year Docúpolis added new sections with the intention of creating a
festival that connects and establishes alliances with other
international festivals.
We are conscious of the responsibility we bear, developing a documentary
festival. Especially one with a permanent annual growth in all its
areas: documentary, spectators, students and especially in the educative
area.
Following the line of previous editions, Docúpolis will project the
majority of documentaries in the great ambience of the Center of
Contemporary Culture of Barcelona.
The growing importance of documentaries in Spain and the intention of
opening new spaces for its diffusion into diverse geographic areas,
motivates us to continue delineating diverse forms of representing our
