Back to medieval times at Elx/Elche, Valencia 19th to 28th October Annual festivals in Elx ( Elche) and Denia, Costa Blanca, Spain. Annual Spanish events. Elx and Denia will host two fairs that will take you back to the Middle Ages. There will be lots of arts and crafts, gastronomy, and plenty of fun! The Medieval Fair at Elx will take place between October 19th and 28th. The Fair will be in Denia from the 12th until the 14th. Now, there is yet another good reason to visit both towns! The Medieval Fair at Elx will take place between October 19th and 28th. At Elx, eye-catching and attractive cultural events such as exhibits, storytelling, theatre, parades, and a whole range of activities await you. Of special note is the Medieval Market (Mercadillo Medieval) that will take place in the streets surrounding the Plaza del Congreso Eucarístico. The market brings to life the customs and traditions of the different medieval crafts, teaching attendants about the crafting process and materials used in the period, while simultaneously boosting commerce in arts & crafts and gastronomy.
