The Davis Cup tennis final will be held this year at The Palau San Jordi in Barcelona on the 6th to 8th December.
The competing nations are Spain and The Czech Republic.
Spain and the Czech Republic are playing each other in Barcelona, in the world's most important tennis tournament between nations.

Spain, the current number one in the competition's ranking, will face the Czech Republic (number four in the ranking) for the most important trophy between the countries on the international tennis circuit.
 Rafael Nadal of Spain one of today's best tennis players on the court, will be trying his hardest to win The Davis Cup trophy in his homeland and in front of 17,000 tennis fans as well as millions on television around the world.

The Davis Cup has been battled out since the first challenge between America and Great Britain in 1900.
 The Davis Cup is the most important team game in world tennis.
 
 The International Tennis Federation organisers the competition and it has now grown so that more than 134 countries participate. So far America has been the most successful country and they have won 32 tournaments and been runners up in 29 tournaments.
 
Spain were the winners in 2000, 2004 and 2008 and runners up in
1965, 1967 and 2003.
