 Carnival. Burial of the Sardine. It starts the night before Ash Wednesday with the vigil, when everyone dresses in a sheet with a veil to announce the death of the Sardine.
 
 
The funeral procession starts on Wednesday, made up of two youths who head the parade with their processional candles, an Officiant dressed in a cape, a bishop's hat and a lard blanket in the form of a book of ceremonies with chorizo sausage and morcilla, four mourning widows carry a giant sardine on their shoulders and the widow played by a man is the main character, she is accompanied by numerous widowers dressed in black capes, with red handkerchiefs and ties, black top hat and umbrella.
